A good outsourcing firm has the resources to start a project right away. Handling the same project in-house might involve taking weeks or months to hire the right people, train them, and provide the support they need. And if a project requires major capital investments (such as building a series of distribution centers), the startup process can be even more difficult

It’s great to hear about people taking your tools and putting them to work right away. It’s making him money and giving him more time…just like your tag line says. Thanks for the great tips and tricks in Outsource Compendium about making sure you give good guidance to outsourcing companies and set realistic goals and timelines. You also talk about keeping these companies honest and making sure you don’t pay for something they never deliver on.
I put together a chapter by chapter review of the eBook on Squidoo. If you’re interested, click the link above.

Hi Jeff,
Just wanted to thank for the well written e-book. Also nice to hear about a fellow Minnesotan being successful on the net and helping others do the same.I have just started this internet thing in my spare time and it is a lot of work!I am a single father of 2 kids (10 and 13)and find myself up until 1 a.m. working and learning. The problem I think a lot people have is that we need to work regular jobs to pay the bills and also have to do most of the work in our business ourselves because of very limited finances. The reason I started doing the internet thing was to change my financial picture and my life. Always living on the financial edge is stressful. It is a situation I think is common. People look to the internet to make more money and have some flexibility but are limited with time constraints and the finances to outsource some tasks. What would be your recommendation for people like us?
